Besides the fact that it was freezing cold and none of their pools were heated and most of my showers were ice cold, camp was fun. I shared a cabin with 4 friends. Breakfast was at 7am every morning then we went strait to the first activity.

On the first day we arrived at Port bay at 10am, put our bags in our cabins and my group went surfing.... I've never been surfing before so we started with the basics. I went to catch a wave and started to slip off the left side of my board when the HUGE wave (*cough cough*) went over me and I went under. Trying to keep my head above water and trying to stand up at the same time I arched my back (as far as it could go and a bit further) and jarred it. Great!! First day and I already have an injury! I had to sit on the beach for the rest of the activity with our sports teacher who loves his ipod like his girlfriend (well......not that much but you get the idea...).

Anyway, next we went tree climbing. Now when I say they were big arse trees, I mean they were FUCKING BIG!!! Get the picture?! I didn't go up because of my back, no other reason (*cough cough*) we got back and dinner was at 6pm.
Every night after dinner we had someone come in and talk about fish (and other animals only found in Victoria), activity night or we had talent night.

The rest of the week we did other things like horse riding, sailing, scuba diving in the pool and under the pier, snorkelling in the pool and with the seals. Swimming with the seals was awsome. If you did a trick under the water they would watch what you did and do it better. I also loved sailing. We each got a turn driving the boat.

Their were some other injuries like someone chipping a tooth, people getting sick, someone falling off their horse and most of us got the flu.

On the last night we had a talent night. Jessica taught me a beat with my hands which was fun, another group did a since from a movie and another group did a Michael Jackson mix (Haha...she fell over) and another group of girls did a horror story about Jimmy Jones.

Over all, it was a good week (except for the freezing cold pools and the ice cold showers and my sore back). I got heaps of photos which I'll upload soon. I'll soon be going to music camp for 3 days then we have work experience for a week. Yay! More days off!!
